Doctor S., gynecologist in Hauts de France Grace, was able to test the probe perineal rehabilitation Emy and recommends her to her patients.
For ethical reasons, Doctor S. wished to remain anonymous, but still wanted to share his opinion on our medical device. A very interesting return, which I will let you discover.

If you are a healthcare professional, test Emy using the program Emy Expert.

perineal rehabilitation clinically proven Emy biofeedback probe

Hello Doctor, can you tell me why you wanted to test the Emy probe?

I tested the Emy probe both for my personal needs (I suffer fromurinary incontinence) and for professional curiosity. As a gynecologist I want to prescribe to my patients an effective device to rehabilitate the perineum. I had already tested a probeelectrostimulation but the results were inconclusive. I heard about Emy in the press and wanted to test it before recommending it to my patients.

What is your opinion on our medical device?

I found Emy great, very pleasant and comfortable. The shape of the probe is very good. I really appreciated the app, I find that the exercises are fun, very nice to follow and monitoring progress helps a lot to visualize improvements over time. It’s motivating and makes you want to continue. The idea of following time and performance objectives is a real challenge. I think it promotes patient compliance.

Biofeedback VS electrostimulation?

THE biofeedback is, in my opinion, much more effective. This technology is not suitable for all patients but it allows you to monitor your progress and it is a real source of motivation. There is no doubt for me, the biofeedback is significantly more effective.

What did you think of the price?

It’s definitely a bit expensive. Especially for some patients who cannot afford to spend such a sum. Personally, I'm really happy with it. It's expensive but it's worth it. In addition, we suspect that there is research and development behind it. Your arguments are relevant and theefficiency speaks for itself. Unfortunately, it’s a real shame that it is not reimbursed because the price is a real barrier for patients.
However, it is also something positive because the fact that the device is not reimbursed can be a source of motivation for the patient. She paid for it so she makes her purchase profitable by carrying out her exercises more regularly than with a reimbursed device. If we see it like that, it’s ultimately better for the patient, if it allows her to take responsibility!

Do you find Emy effective?

I am really convinced of its effectiveness! I tested it for 3 weeks very regularly, in an intensive program and I felt a lot of improvement. A better perineal tone and a marked improvement in my incontinence symptoms. I am really happy with this device and do not regret having bought it! It's only a quarter of an hour a day but it brings a lot. It’s a time that we take for ourselves.

I have also prescribed the probe to two of my patients and I am impatiently awaiting their feedback.
