Other specific situations

Do I need to do perineal rehabilitation if I give birth by cesarean section?

Yes, after a cesarean delivery you also need to do postpartum rehabilitation.

During your pregnancy, your perineum supported the growing weight of your baby, which could weaken your muscles. The Emy probe is entirely suitable in this context. Do not hesitate to consult our article on the subject for more information.

You can also discuss the subject for free with our expert physiotherapist Paul, do not hesitate to make an appointment with him so he can help you.

I am a man, can I use Emy Trainer?

The Emy perineal probe was designed for intravaginal use to allow women to re-educate their perineum. This device is reserved for female use and we do not currently market an equivalent for men.

However, you can subscribe to our offer App Emy on the mobile application “Emy – Perineum Exercises” which allows women, like men, to train their perineum. You will benefit from perineal exercises without the probe to train at home!

Can I use Emy Trainer during my period?

Yes, there are no contraindications to using Emy during your menstrual period. Just make sure to clean Emy thoroughly before and after each use.

The probe is a medical device developed and recognized by health professionals which takes its place following childbirth ! The most common is to start perineal rehabilitation sessions 6 to 8 weeks after giving birth, after having carried out a perineal assessment with your healthcare professional.
