Our journey

An Adventure Powered by Innovation

At the outset of their journey, Emeline Hahn, Julien Guay, Allan Mabilais, and Paul Grandemange aimed to develop a connected medical device for knee rehabilitation. In conversations with healthcare professionals, they uncovered a pressing issue: urinary incontinence, affecting 1 in 3 women—a public health challenge with a profound impact on daily life. Inspired to make a difference, they created Fizimed, driven by a commitment to transform the way each of us experiences health every day.

2016 — The beginnings of the Hacking Health Camp in Strasbourg

The future entrepreneurs took part in the Hacking Health Camp in Strasbourg, a hackathon dedicated to medical innovation. The challenge: 48 hours to imagine, design, and prototype an innovative solution as a team. It was during this event that Paul Grandemange and Allan Mabilais joined the adventure. The team went on to win the award for Best Health Innovation.

2018 — First fundraising

That year marked the commercial launch of Emy Trainer. Fizimed completed its first successful fundraising round, supported by partners from Alsace and across France.

2019 to 2021

The team continued its commercial development and completed a second successful fundraising round.

This milestone marked a turning point in the growth of the Femtech startup, paving the way for its international expansion.

2024 to present

The Emy brand strengthened its position in the Femtech sector. The launch of the Emy Pump, a hands-free breast pump, along with the growth of the smart connected Emy pelvic floor Trainer, reinforced Fizimed’s commitment to women’s health

A gentle yet radical revolution in women’s health

Empowering women to take control of their own health—breaking taboos, honoring their bodies, and offering concrete, accessible, and respectful solutions at every stage of life. We believe that women’s health is a fundamental right, not a secondary concern. Female health issues must be acknowledged, understood, and supported. We are committed to fostering a new dialogue, free from taboos, guided by an intergenerational, inclusive, and proactive approach.

Our vision is a fully recognized women’s health, liberated from taboos and integrated into the broader societal agenda.
