While reading the various reviews of Emy, we came across Anna’s: “Perfect purchase. One week of use and already huge results.” It made us so happy at Fizimed that we wanted to know more. Anna told us how the EmyTrainer pelvic floor trainer changed her life, especially when it came to urinary leakage. Discover her story!
The key points from Anna’s journey:
- Postpartum marked by the return of urinary leakage: despite initial postpartum pelvic floor recovery with the midwife, Anna was once again experiencing embarrassing leaks in everyday life during high-impact sports activities or even simple sneezes.
- A pelvic floor recovery solution at home: Held back by the practical constraints of appointments at the clinic, she turned to the Emy Trainer pelvic floor recovery device after seeing a video recommendation.
- Fast, measurable results thanks to biofeedback: by doing 3 to 4 sessions a week, she noticed a clear improvement from the very first week thanks to precise visual feedback on her muscle contractions.
Why use Emy Trainer?
Hello, I’m Anna. I’m 31 and I’m the mum of a three-and-a-half-year-old child. After giving birth, I did my training sessions with the midwife. That’s thanks to her that I learned how to contract my pelvic floor using the visualisation technique.
Before that, I wasn’t really aware that I even had a pelvic floor or of how important taking care of it is. In short, a while after that recovery, I started leaking again, especially when I did sport.
I do gym workouts and a bit of running. But whatever the sport, when there was impact, I leaked. Even at the office, when I sneezed, I was afraid of having an accident! It was really embarrassing…

Why did you choose Emy for your recovery?
The solution at that time would have been to go back for sessions with my midwife, but I didn’t have the time, and it was too much hassle. Still, I really needed to do something, because it was ruining my life too much.
In the end, I took the plunge. I did some research on pelvic floor recovery devices, but I didn’t know which one to choose! Then, several months later, I saw a video from Fanette, Petit Bouddha on YouTube, an influencer I like who has always been very objective in her content. So I decided to buy Emy.
My pelvic floor training with Emy Trainer
How did your pelvic floor training with Emy Trainer go?
It was really straightforward, I didn’t have any difficulties. It was very intuitive and very fun. Besides, I love theme parks! I often do multi-session training sessions where you can have different exercises from each world. I like mixing things up; it helps me stay motivated and consistent.

Fast results with Emy Trainer
When did you notice the first effects of the Emy Trainer pelvic floor trainer on your pelvic floor?
From the very first week, I felt a clear improvement! I’ve been using the recovery device for 3 weeks in an intensive programme, doing 3 to 4 sessions a week. The results for the health of my pelvic floor are really impressive.
What changes have you noticed?
I can finally feel that my pelvic floor is really getting stronger. It’s very different from the feeling I had during my pelvic floor recovery with the midwife. With her, I did visualisation sessions. And I never knew whether I was doing well or not.
Now, with Emy, I can clearly see whether I’m doing the work well, whether I’m contracting my pelvic floor correctly. I can feel that I’m training, and that things are improving.

Do you think urinary leakage is talked about enough?
In my family, it was a topic that was rarely discussed, if at all. In fact, we didn’t talk about it. Even my gynaecologist who followed me during my pregnancy didn’t mention it!
Then after giving birth, I kept being told: “You’ll need to do pelvic floor training.” And it was when I started the sessions that the midwife explained to me just how important this topic is and that we need to talk about it around us.
Even if people talk about it much more now, it remains a taboo subject. Women think that urinary leakage, especially after childbirth, is an irreversible problem. I even thought that was just how it was, that it wouldn’t change.

The women we meet often tell us that Emy is too expensive — what do you think?
At the beginning, of course, I hesitated. The price made me think, but because it’s an innovative product and rechargeable, I told myself that I’d have the recovery device for the rest of my life.
I can take it anywhere, I can do sessions whenever I want. I don’t regret this investment at all. In the end, you have to give it a try to see for yourself.

One last question: Emy in 3 words?
Practical, fun and effective! A solution every woman should have at home!!
What to remember from Anna’s story:
- Biofeedback offers a hands-on approach to muscle strengthening: unlike abstract visualisation methods, the Emy Trainer pelvic floor trainer lets you see each contraction instantly.
- Stress urinary incontinence after childbirth is not an irreversible fate: with regular, fun training, it is entirely possible to regain a toned pelvic floor and reduce leaks in everyday life or during sport.
- A long-lasting investment in autonomy and women’s health: being able to do your training at home whenever you want is a practical solution that pays off over the long term to help preserve your quality of life.
