This is the compilation postpartum !

Re-educate your perineum after childbirth with Emy
Can you introduce yourself and explain to us why you started using Emy?
Samantha: My name is Samantha, I am 27 years old and I decided to use Emily following my sessions perineal rehabilitation For keep it as toned as possible following my childbirth.
Rebecca: Rebecca, 38 years old. I had two pregnancies rather close together. My first daughter will be 3 years old in a week and my second just 8 months old. I didn't do my rehabilitation sessions for my first pregnancy because I was too lazy to go to the midwife (yes, I know it’s not good!). For my second pregnancy, when I was supposed to start my rehabilitation sessions, I went on vacation for 2 months then there was COVID-19 and all the complications that we know about.
My partner gave me the catheter because I have difficulty holding back my gas and I have some urinary leakage also. I felt some discomfort when I sneezed or exerted myself. A bit like I was giving birth again! In order to resume peaceful sexual activity and overcome these inconveniences, for me the solution was the Emy probe.
Clemence: My name is Clémence, I had my first pregnancy with a childbirth quite violent and a total tear of the perineum. During my second pregnancy, I started having leaks from 4 months of pregnancy! So, I did manual rehabilitation throughout my pregnancy with a midwife.
2 years after my childbirth, I got back into sport seriously. That's when I realized the extent of the damage. In one cross-fit session I filled a sanitary napkin! After having done a urodynamic assessment, my only problem was my perineum... So I did a year of rehabilitation with a physiotherapist and unfortunately the results were not obvious. So I bought the Emy probe following confinement and I work almost daily with the probe!
How did your perineal rehabilitation go with Emy?
Samantha: It is very simple and intuitive to use!
Rebecca: Complicated at times. Without having undergone rehabilitation with a health professional, it was difficult for me to find the right position and to know if my contractions were being performed correctly. I hope it will get better with time.
Clemence: I currently do 5 sessions per week. I find it easy to use and very fun!
When did you notice the first effects of the Emy probe on your perineum?
Samantha: From the 3rd session I noticed the first effects! I have much less urinary leakage when I cough or exercise. It is finally possible for me to return to sport serenely.
Rebecca: Unfortunately, I am not diligent enough to get results. The recovery is difficult because of lack of time with my daughters. But I feel an improvement during my sex.
Clemence: After two months, I noticed small results. I can see my perineum better and I have more confidence in myself. But for now I still have to wear protection when I play sports.
Urinary leaks, a taboo subject, even postpartum
Do you think we talk enough about the problem of urinary leakage?
Samantha: No not at all, even following rehabilitation after childbirth !
Rebecca: We talk about it more and more among seniors but not at all in post-delivery.
Clemence: But not at all! It’s a taboo subject even though it’s not our fault.
So, happy?
The women we meet often tell us that Emy is too expensive, what do you think?
Samantha: Indeed, the probe is not accessible to everyone, even if there is the possibility of paying in three installments. But given the results, I have no regrets.
Rebecca: I confirm. Mutual insurance companies and social security should cover part of the cost. I'm happy that my partner gave it to me!
Clemence: I think the probe is worth the price. We have the probe, the app, it is a very practical device.
One last question: Emy in 3 words?
Samantha: Efficient, practical, fast.
Rebecca: Intuitive, aesthetic, simple.
Clemency : Simple, discreet and fun.
