Emy Pump offers suction power of up to 300 mmHg, similar to hospital breast pumps as well as settings to adapt the speed and pressure to your lactation. It can operate at a rate of 40 to 60 cycles per minute, comparable to the average baby's sucking rate of around 50 sucks per minute.

In addition, Emy Pump offers 3 different operating modes to imitate babies' feeding patterns. Generally, this is broken down into two phases: a first faster phase to trigger the ejection of milk (Massage or Stimulation mode), followed by a slower phase when the milk flows (Expression mode).

With quiet operation and a compact design, Emy Pump allows you to express milk almost imperceptibly, whether at home, at work or on the go. It slips easily under clothing. You will therefore not need to undress, nor hold the breast pump during pumping and even less need to be plugged into an outlet or connected to an application. Your hands will be completely free and available to continue your activities!

The noise level of Emy Pump can reach up to 50 dB depending on the settings selected, thus guaranteeing very quiet use. Its use is more discreet than the noise level of a normal conversation (~55 dB) and can be compared to the noise level found in a library (40 to 50 dB).

With a full charge, Emy Pump offers a battery life of approximately 2 and a half hours in standard setting, but this duration may vary depending on different factors such as the suction power chosen or the duration of each pumping session.

After 30 minutes of use, the breast pump stops automatically. To protect the battery of your breast pump if you do not use it for a long period of time, be sure to charge it every 2 to 3 months at least.

The Emy Pump portable breast pump contains replacement parts (an additional cap, anti-reflux diaphragm and anti-return valve) as well as an adjustable bra strap.

Before each use, wash your hands, place the hands-free breast pump in your nursing bra, and center the breast shield over your nipple to ensure comfort and effective suction.

Start with a frequent stimulation mode at a low suction level, then gradually increase the intensity according to your comfort level. Pumping should never be painful. If it is, check that you are using the correct breast shield size.

After one to two minutes of pumping or as soon as milk begins to flow, switch to expression mode: the suction frequency decreases but the suction is stronger to allow for effective milk extraction.

As soon as breast milk extraction slows down, switch your pump back to stimulation mode to trigger a new let-down reflex and maximize your milk production.

The average duration of pumping is between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the woman, and the amount collected varies greatly depending on the context (exclusive pumping, pumping between feedings, etc.).
