We’re lucky to have more and more testimonials from our users, helping us break the taboo around the pelvic floor.
Incontinence, rectocele, prolapse, a lack of sensation during intimate moments… There’s no shortage of topics when it comes to talking about the pelvic floor. And what better way to explore its benefits than through the story of a user who was able to say goodbye to urinary leaks and get back to sport thanks to Emy Trainer, and share everything the pelvic floor trainer has to offer!
Today, it’s Audrey, a young mum of 2, who agreed to answer our questions. For her, urinary leaks happened when she did sport. Horse riding and Zumba—enough to put any pelvic floor through its paces!
The key points from Audrey’s journey:
- The impact of high-intensity sport : Urinary leaks appeared when she started doing Zumba and horse riding after her second pregnancy.
- Choosing home-based recovery : Because of her busy schedule as a self-employed nurse and the long appointment wait times, she turned to a solution she could do at home.
- Fast, fun results : By training actively for 15 minutes, three times a week with the Emy Trainer pelvic floor trainer, she saw her leaks reduce in just three weeks.
Audrey, can you tell us why you decided to choose Emy Trainer?
When I had my first child, I did pelvic floor training with a midwife. It involved electrostimulation and I really didn’t like it at all! I think I didn’t even finish my sessions.
However, during my second pregnancy, I was very unwell. The constant nausea caused stress urinary incontinence and quite a lot of urinary leaks. My gynaecologist was very reassuring and told me these leaks would ease after the birth.
And indeed they did, but when I got back to sport (Zumba and horse riding), the leaks came back, and I realised I needed to do something about it…
I went to see my gynaecologist, who suggested I do pelvic floor training sessions. However, he wasn’t at all concerned about the state of my pelvic floor.
That said, I’m a self-employed nurse and I live in an area where you have to wait at least a month for an appointment with a specialised physiotherapist or a midwife…
On top of that, with 2 children now, I quickly decided to find a solution I could use at home. That’s when I discovered the Emy Trainer pelvic floor trainer after researching online.
Did you choose Emy Trainer straight away?
I was hesitating between Emy Trainer and one of your competitors, who offered a similar pelvic floor trainer. But I decided to choose Emy Trainer because I found the customer service to be excellent and super responsive. I really value human connection.
As a self-employed nurse, I need contact with my patients, and they also need the support I give them. I immediately found that closeness at Fizimed.

And the story of this start-up, combined with the fact that the device is made in France, were two extra reasons that convinced me completely.
And how did your pelvic floor training with Emy Trainer go?
I was eager to receive it because I wasn’t even going to Zumba anymore because of the urinary leaks caused by stress incontinence. When I got Emy Trainer, I used it 3 times a week for 15 minutes each time.
I found the games really great and fun, so instead of the 5 minutes I’d originally set myself, I would do 15 minutes while having fun.

I wanted a fun trainer that would let me be active in the exercises, and that’s exactly what I found with Emy. What’s more, the trainer helped me understand how to properly contract my pelvic floor, and I’ve realised that I tend to engage it better when I’m horse riding, for example.
And the cherry on top: I noticed changes after 3 weeks of use. Today, I have no incontinence issues at all, and I use Emy Trainer once a week for 10 minutes.
So I can only recommend this solution to all women who want to take care of their pelvic floor!
What you should remember from Audrey’s testimonial:
- Freedom from urinary leaks: regular training enabled her to get back to Zumba and horse riding without worrying about stress leaks, and she now finally feels free to enjoy her passions without discomfort or frustration.
- Independence that supports consistency : the flexibility of home-based training meant she could fit her sessions perfectly into her busy life as a mum and nurse. She now feels in control of her pelvic health, managing her time exactly the way she wants.
- The importance of an interactive approach : the fun, biofeedback-based biofeedback helped her visualise her muscle contractions while enjoying the experience; she feels so fulfilled by this positive journey and the reduction in her symptoms that she now recommends Emy Trainer to all women who want to take care of their pelvic floor.
