« After a week, I started to see the effects of the Emy Trainer pelvic floor trainer »

Testimonials Product review 22 October 2025

Emilie is a bit like a fairy godmother who one day sends us a lovely message on Instagram to tell us how much Emy Trainer helped her get back all her pelvic floor tone. We didn’t need much more to ask her to share her story with us! And that’s how we discovered that Emilie had had 2 children close together and had noticed positive effects on her pelvic floor after just one week of using Emy Trainer! Incredible! All that’s left is for you to discover Emilie’s testimony…

The key points of Emilie’s journey:

  • A difficult first birth: A journey marked by a long labour, pelvic floor weakness and physiotherapy sessions without any real progress.
  • Looking for a solution at home: Managing everyday life with two young children led her to choose the Emy Trainer pelvic floor recovery trainer.
  • Muscle tone quickly restored: A clear improvement from the very first week, bringing more calm into daily life and medical approval.

So Emilie, who are you?

Hello, my name is Emilie, I’m 40 and I’m a mum of 2 children: Aaron, 26 months, and Eva, 3 months old.

Can you tell me how you discovered Emy Trainer?

I discovered the Emy Trainer pelvic floor trainer on Instagram thanks to Priscilla’s account @delicateprs.

Why did you decide to take the plunge?

I started using Emy Trainer after my second childbirth, vaginally and with tearing. For my first, my pelvic floor really suffered, and I had a marathon labour (62 hours!). My waters broke on Saturday, and I was induced on Monday. My son was born after forceps and an emergency C-section on Tuesday morning. I went for pelvic floor training with a physiotherapist. But after 10 sessions, I didn’t see any major changes. I still felt like I was going to have an “oops” moment. I told myself that with 2 young children, I would struggle to find time to go to the physio!

And how did your pelvic floor training with Emy Trainer go?

Very well! I used it while my children were napping. It’s quick and easy, and I would charge it a little before using it.

Were you surprised by how the device works?

The trainer is gentler than it looks, and the Bluetooth connection is quick. The games are super fun. At the physio, I did exercises with a pelvic floor trainer but without really understanding why. With Emy, you can really see the results. Each exercise is explained so you understand why you’re doing it. The trainer calibrates in real time, and you really become aware of how important your pelvic floor is. You can choose whether you want to do a full training session or just a few exercises.

How often do you use Emy Trainer today?

I started with the intensive programme for 3 weeks, doing 5 sessions a week. Now it’s maintenance, so 2 to 3 times a week.

How long did it take before you noticed effects on your pelvic floor?

After just one week I was already seeing results; I could control my pelvic floor better, especially when I was carrying my daughter’s car seat. When I went to see the gynaecologist for a check-up after my episiotomy, she said I had a great pelvic floor.

What changes did you notice?

I can sneeze or cough without being afraid of leaks. With my first baby, I felt a heaviness, like my organs were dropping, but not at all now.

Do you think urinary leaks are talked about enough?

No, not at all. People mostly talk about how to hide them with special pads, but not about how to stop them happening.

What to remember from Emilie’s testimony:

  • Real everyday relief: Emilie finally feels calm and reassured when she carries her daughter, coughs or sneezes, without worrying about urinary leaks thanks to Emy Trainer.
  • The satisfaction of understanding your body: Thanks to the explanations and visual tracking in the app, she felt motivated and regained confidence in the strength of her pelvic floor.
  • The need to talk openly about solutions: Emilie regrets the taboo around urinary leaks and wants to encourage women to take care of their pelvic floor rather than simply hiding the problem.
